World Population Day is an annual event observed every year on July 11 to raise Awareness of global population issues. The event was established by the governing Council of the United Nations development programme in 1989.
The World Population Day is being observed in India for the last 10 years. Our school too made children aware about the importance of keeping the population under control. The ideas From Class 9th and 10th students were taken as to how the goal of having population under control could be reached. An online session was conducted where students could voice their opinion regarding the issue. Students seemed enthusiastic and they made beautiful posters presentations and wrote articles in order to contribute to the topic.
Indeed we all know the benefits of having a of small family and the ideas and suggestions given by the students are very thoughtful.
