On 28th February, 2020 CBSE COE (Centreof Excellence) conducted the workshop on Library Science in COE office, New Delhi.
Mrs. Thilagam, the Library Instructor, wasgiven the opportunity to attend this seminar & representour Sulabh Public School.
The workshop started with the sharing of objective of the session on how to organize library, new techniques and upcoming books. It was followed by the self introduction of all the present participants and an activity of matching the books with their authors. It was succeeded by the crossword puzzleused for all the library terms. During amid of the workshop, a quiz for DDC(Dewey Decimal Calculation) was conducted for all the members.
Also, a debate on the topic ‘Is Automation necessary for school libraries? ’ was organized to know the views of the learned associates in the training session.
At last, the program was concluded by the distribution of certificates to all the participants. It was a great initiative taken by the CBSE to upgrade all the respective teachers of the similar operation.
