On the occasion of International women’s day, the Delhi police took to their shoulders, the responsibility of sensitising folks regarding women safety and rights.
In the premises of Sulabh Public school, Sanjay Singh along with his team, teamed up to highlight the essence and necessity to make women feel safe indoors and even more safer, outdoors.
Alongside, he shared 155260, the number where cyber crimes could be reported about and also talked at length about 120 pink booths available to file cases against molestation and exploitation.
Women’s day being selected as the day to signify women empowerment was however a highly regarded initiative by the Delhi police.
Mrs. Kalpana Kumari and Mrs. Sonam Mishra put forth the audience a remarkable poetry that beautifully brings out the strength and sweetness as the founding pillars of any woman. The poetry echoed the male female contribution to let each other compliment at par.
Mrs. Shelly came forward to present the vote of thanks.
Taking on to the zeal, Mrs. Sunita from our institution joined the program at police headquarters. The zest, indeed ignited spirit of solidarity and true women empowerment.
The program was also joined by the teachers from Universal Public School, the training school students and the members of diva.
The day concluded on a pleasant note and the strength of women and the support of men was significantly brought out all throughout.
