Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on 5th September across the country. It is celebrated with great fervour in schools and educational institutions to commemorate the birth anniversary of philosopher and academician Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Since all the schools are closed since March 2020, due to the pandemic Covid-19, our school authorities, teachers and students have moved online since then.
This day too, students of all the classes were enthusiastic enough to show their love and respect for all the teachers. Since morning, we started receiving great & affectionate messages, poems, students performing teacher’s acts from our beloved students. The celebration continued with a virtual get-together of all the teachers on ZOOM Meet for an hour. We all rejoiced the meeting by complimenting each other, singing songs, sharing coffee mugs and refreshments online.
It was a great experience to be together being at different places. Covid 19 has allowed us to be technologically advance and it has changed the ways of celebration. Hence, we are happy that Students-Teachers Relationship still blossoms online as “Rishta Wahi, Soch Nai”.
