Goddess Saraswati is the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom and learning. On the auspicious day of 30th January, 2020 Saraswati Pooja was performed in our school premises. It was celebrated with a lot of fervour and zeal by all school students & teachers of the school.
The spellbound idol of Maa saraswati was worshipped in the morning by dressing her with beautiful saree, ornaments, flower garlands & rangoli was made on the floor with powdered rice and flowers.
Students pile up their books in front of the deity earnestly seeking her blessings for academic excellence. The opportunity of performing pooja & getting blessings from Maa Saraswati was given to students of the school. Also, the gel pens with lucky thing of the Goddess were distributed among the students of class X to write their board examination.
The immersion of the idol takes place the following day. With a lot of fanfaronade and pomp the idol the Goddess is carried to a nearby lake or river by the students for the purpose of immersion.
