It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got the freedom on August 15th 1947.
To mark the significant day, the celebrations took place with great pomp and show in the premises of Sulabh Public School. The program began with the flag hoisting ceremony by one of the excellent student Kritika Singh, a student of class X. The students were then headed towards the main hall where many events were lined up for the day.
The programme began with speech from the school’s principal where she threw light upon the struggle of our freedom fighters and all the leaders. She created a beautiful ambience wherein everybody could be seen remembering the brave hearts.
Later, beautiful cultural programmes like fancy dress, singing and dancing were presented. Everybody could be seen in the vibrant tricolor which enhanced the beauty of the day. A few of our students delivered heart-warming speeches portraying the essence of independence. The programme ended with the singing of national anthem and receiving light refreshments.
