On 28th February 2020, National Science Day as celebrated in the school premises with great zeal and zest. In India, every year, this day is celebrated to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian Physicist Sir C.V. Raman. History dates back in 12\9886 when National Council for Service & Technology Communication asked the Government of India to celebrate the day all over the country for the popularization of Science & Technology & bestowing awards for outstanding efforts in the area.
The objective is to spread a message about the importance of Science used in the daily life of the people. It is celebrated to discuss all the issues and implement new technologies for the development in the field of Science and eventually for human welfare.
Every year this day has been observed with a theme and this year it is “Women in Science.” The young learners with scientific temperament of Sulabh Public School got an opportunity to expose and boost their scientific skills. These learners from class V to VIII displayed their working models and explained the scientific concepts to their fellow learners. The scientific concept related to pressure, synthetic fibers and much more was explained with the help of skits. The tiny tots of class I displayed charts on various topics of their level. The stalls of models were visited by approximately 50 trainees from National Training Institute along with their instructors. A big round of applause was given by them. It was very pleasing to see the students explaining their models and Charts with great confidence.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal of the school.
