Dr. Bindesheswar Pathak, Founder, Sulabh Sanitation Movement, launched Sulabh School Sanitation Club program in various schools. It intends to make the future generations stronger, healthier and more alive to social realities and needs in respect sanitation and safe water use. World Toilet Day
Sulabh Public School celebrates “World Toilet Day” on 19th November every year which is also known as a birth anniversary of our former Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi.
On this date in 2013, the programme began with the formation of a Human Chain and the Biggest Toilet Pot Replica was unveiled followed by a play “Sanitation Revolution in India” at FICCI Golden Jubilee Auditorium.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi led a cleanliness pledge at India Gate. Alongwith, all the nation hand in hand walking towards the cleanliness, our children were no behind in fulfilling the swachhta abhiyan.
School Management, under the guidance of Hon’ble founder sir, took out processions and conducted campaign in the local area to promote cleanliness of the surroundings. Students along with their teachers keenly participated in the cleanliness drive.
