Kala Utsav was an initiative of the Department of School Education and Literacy, under Samagra Shiksha Scheme to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artstic talent of school students in the country.
Hence, as per the Circular from the U.E.E Mission, Department of Education, regarding the participation in Kala Utsav at District Level, our school students and teachers showed their enthusiasm in active contribution to make it a grand event.
It included the wide range of activities to be performed under Vocal Music (Classical & Traditional Folk), Instrumental Music (Classical & Traditional Folk), Classical & Folk Dance, Visual Arts (2D & 3D) and Indigenous and Games.
The strength and potential of our students from class 9th and 10th kept them engaged in showcasing their flair in Indigeneous Toys & Games, 2D Visual Arts, Classical Dance, Vocal Music (Classical and Folk).
Amid Covid 19, these activities were conducted in the school premises with the written consent from parents of the participants. The classrooms were properly sanitized and complete social distancing was maintained in presence of the assigned teachers. Broad measures were kept in mind while conducting these events in the school on 21st November, 23rd November and 25th November, 2020.
