Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Sulabh Public School on 26th January 2020. Tanisha a student of class 10th was honoured to accompany the Principal and the Chairperson of the school in the prestigious ceremony of flag hoisting. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is India”.
A beautiful patriotic song that left the audience spellbound was presented by Riya, a student of class 9th. The hall echoed the melody of the saga of our freedom fighters and our nation builders. The decoration was beautiful and the students along with the teachers were seen in high spirits to celebrate the Republic Day of our nation. Students from the junior wing came up with a fancy dress competition where they beautifully designed themselves as Various jewels of our nation like Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Laxmi Bai etc. The dialogues were excellently conveyed and their presentation made our spirits shine bright for our mother land.
Students marched in harmony to mark the significance of unity and integrity. All were seen coloured in the colours of the tricolour.
Indeed the day ended with a heartfelt speech by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, the founder of Sulabh Public school which ended the significant day on a beautiful note.
