Sulabh International Social Service Organisation, an NGO founded by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak in 1970, celebrated its 50th Anniversary Day on 5th and 6th March 2020 at India Habitat Centre New Delhi.
It was celebrated with a great zeal and zest. To mark the occasion remarkable, an exclusive exhibition was displayed showcasing the growth journey of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation over the past 5 decades. The programme started with the lighting of lamp and welcoming the honourable guests. The distinguished guests included-
- Amitabh Kant, Chief Guest, CEO- Niti Aayog, Government of India
- Shri B.P. Singh, Guest of Honour, Former Governor of Sikkim
- Shri GVVSDS Prasad Presided over the function, Secretary Gandhi Darshan, Hyderabad
The guests were heartily welcomed by gracing them with Sandalwood garland and shawls. It was followed by the inspirational words by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak. The motivational speech was also given by all honourable guests.
The students of Sulabh Public School delivered appreciating messages from the Prime Minister of India, the Vice President of India and the President of India for the commendable work done by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, the founder of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation.
The school students and the teachers visited the exhibition gallery. The students were inspired to see the hard work of the renowned sociologist and philanthropistDr. Pathak. They were proud to be the member of such a prestigious Institute. The grandevent was concluded with a speech by the Hon’ble Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak and warm wishes were conveyed to him.
The hall was filled with the huge round of applause.We wish our Hon’ble Founder all the very best for his future endeavours. We wish to see the organisation at the new horizons in the near future.
